Maybe it was too good to be true.

Finding a care provider that had medical and mental services under one roof for transition seemed ideal. I had made contacts there and it seemed to be a great fit.

But I can’t seem to win their cattle-call method of getting an appointment as a new patient. You have to call right at 8am and hope you get in. I called literally at 8 and already they were all booked up. My next day off, when I can travel 9-hours roundtrip to get there and back, is in a month. This is no way for healthcare to be done.

I’ll probably be looking east to Utah next, trying to find someone who will fit my needs. And maybe has a more sensible system.
